A Summer Solstice Forest Bathing Retreat
During the Summer Solstice, the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, marking the longest day of the year. Many cultures recognize the 24 hour period prior to & after the Solstice as a period of heightened spiritual energy and potential for personal transformation. On this day, Rich Collins of the Friendly Territory will lead a slow, meditative journey into nature, designed to awaken the senses and restore balance to body, mind, and spirit.

Volunteer Land Steward Workday
Join us at the Botanical Art Garden (Barden) in the Herrontown Woods. Get outdoors and help us with ongoing trail maintenance, weeding and invasive removal, and planting native flora. Drop in with the Invasive Species of the Month Club, and learn which invasive species they are targeting this month. Volunteers of all ages welcome! Meet at the Barden!

It isn’t showy but it’s cute.” Part of the “Walk with Nature” Series, native plant advocate Sarah Roberts will share her delight in the discovery of spring's bounty of native flora and help fellow walkers begin to identify the distinguishing characteristics of the growth cycle of particular species.
